How Prowl works
Prowl builds one search for 29 vintage marketplaces and puts them all on one screen. The basics:
Search everywhere at once
Type what you are hunting and tap Hunt. Each marketplace with listings gets a row with its count at the top; tap one to jump to it, or Open all (allow pop-ups for this site). Marketplaces with nothing right now share one line at the foot. Just ShopGoodwill under the box searches that one site, and your last few searches wait under the box for one tap.
Your favorite hunts
Type into + add a hunt on the home screen. Prowl checks ShopGoodwill, eBay, Etsy, Chairish, Poshmark, Vinted, Grailed and Salvation Army right away, with photos, and marks what is new since you last looked. Each hunt is a pill; tap it to see its finds. The Den holds every hunt you have saved. Hearts and saved finds live in Flock, under Saved and Likes.
Put your hunts in order
Tap Reorder beside All your hunts, tap the hunt you want to move, then tap where it goes; Done when you are finished. On a phone you can also press and hold a pill, then drag it or tap its new spot. Daily and your alerts go through your hunts in this order, so put the ones you care about most first.
Near me
Near me in the footer is for when you are out in the car. Around you lists the antique, vintage and thrift shops near where you stand, or near any town or ZIP you type, closest first, with Open now to hide the closed ones. + Stop adds any shop to a trip. Road trip plans the shops worth a stop on the way somewhere; ↑ moves a stop up, and Share sends the trip to your group, who see it under Trips with the finds you each check along the way.
On the road
On the day of a trip, tap ✓ Been at each stop; on a group trip everyone sees it. Next stop at the top says how far it is, about how long, and when you will get there. Hide the … closed by then drops the stops that will have closed before you arrive, and Carry on in Maps picks up from where you are. Delete or Leave a trip from its foot.
Daily
Daily in the footer checks all your locked hunts in one go and shows only what is new since yesterday; its badge counts the new finds. See all opens a whole hunt.
Prowl Alerts by email
One email with new finds for your hunts, as often as you pick. Free for 3 hunts. Prowl Pro is free for the first month, then $7 a month for up to 100 hunts and your Den. Cancel any time. Set it up, see your plan and receipts, or turn emails off in Den › Settings. Tap Sign in or sign up to use your Owl & Twig account: we email you a 6-digit code, no password, and the same sign-in works on your phone and computer.
Check a photo
At a sale, tap Photo in the bar at the bottom, then Take a photo. One free check a day, unlimited with Prowl Pro. Prowl names the piece, notes visible flaws and gives a fair price range, with eBay look-alikes. Hunt it on Prowl searches it everywhere; on a trip you can share the find with your group.
Make it yours
Aa makes the text bigger. The icon top-right cycles Light, Blue hour, Midnight, Uranium, a retro blacklight mode, and Cockpit, red night lighting. Some links to eBay earn Owl & Twig a small commission, at no cost to you.

- Your daily prowl: only what is new since yesterday in the hunts you are locked on.
- Flock
- Finds drawn from your hunts and likes, in three tabs: Flock to like what you love and pass on the rest, Saved for the finds you kept, and Likes for everything you hearted.
- Near me
- The shops around you or around any town, open or closed right now, and road trips: the stops worth making on the way somewhere, shared with your group, with the finds you each check along the way.
- Pill
- One of your hunts on the home screen. Tap it for its finds; Reorder puts them in the order you want.
- Been
- A stop you have made on a trip. It stays on the list, dimmed, and Maps carries on from where you are.
- On the lookout
- Ideas to hunt, offered when the search box is empty.
- Best picks
- The few listings that stand out in a hunt: under the usual price, a quiet auction, a lot.
- Pounce
- Prowl watches a hunt for you and taps your phone when the real thing turns up.
- Quarry
- The exact piece you stalk, the way a panther stalks its prey.
- Got away
- A listing that ended or sold before you reached it. Prowl can watch for the next one.
- Paw prints
- Prowl is still looking.
